Updates:

$ - We are about $7000 short of our total fundraising needs. There are still pledges out there that have not paid – we are still fundraising. A deadline was set for all donors who have pledged for a component but have not paid and would like their plaque to be installed on build day needs to pay by May 21st.

There was discussion about our entrance gate to the playground. Brendan Bonnett has offered time and materials to build it. We talked about a pitched vs. flat roof and decided to go with a flat sod roof.

Build details –
We are looking for a camper to serve as the volunteer headquarters as well as a place for someone to stay in during the build as security.

***If you are going to be volunteering before the actual build dates please e-mail Diane Ziegner at ziggy@mtaonline.net She needs names and emergency contact numbers for the volunteer forms for the Borough.

We discussed the volunteer schedule and will set up a call-a-thon to get folks signed up for specific times during the build.

Looked at the calendar of events to happen in the next few weeks. We are on the tight schedule but definitely can make it happen. Road restrictions will be lifted on State roads as of Monday 19th. The excavating will start Monday to build the driveway, parking lot and prepare the playground site.
